COMMON USES: Prodigiosa is widely used to assist in helping with diarrhea, stomach pain and constipation. Prodigiosa is commonly used to support healthy kidney function, maintain healthy blood sugar levels, support a healthy immune system and prevent cataracts.
GENERALLY PREPARED: With the bitter property in mind, Prodigiosa is generally combined with other herbs such as Angelica root, Dandelion leaf, Motherwort leaf, to name a few. Prodigiosa can be prepared in bitter tonics, capsules and tinctures, and sometimes teas. As a capsule Prodigiosa is generally prepared in 400-450 mg units.
