What is Fenugreek?

Fenugreek belongs to the group of legumes, along with chickpeas and lentil. It is a cultivable plant in the vegetable or the home. It has low altitude, is of Asian origin, has smooth green leaves, three per stem.



Fenugreek contain diosgenin, used to produce synthetic estrogen. Among its properties, it is known to promote new breast cells, thus increasing the volume and size of the cells. It is also known its milk promoting effect, thus helping to breastfeed, and its aphrodisiac effects.
