What is Cat's Claw?
The cat's claw is a creeper of Peruvian origin, but also reproduces in several other countries of America, in warm climates. It is a perennial plant and can reach up to 30 m in height. Its flowers are creamy yellow, and are given in clusters.

Thanks to its immune-boosting properties, it helps in infectious respiratory processes like bronchitis, sinusitis, allergies, cough and even asthma.
The alkaloid component rynchofilina helps to fluidize the blood, which improves circulation, thus helping in the treatment of several of its ailments, such as atherosclerosis, thrombosis and even high blood pressure.
More recent studies have found that it could also be used to treat Alzheimer's disease.
How to use Cat's Claw?
It uses its dry crust for infusions. The root is also used. Both can be powdered for tablet use.
