Justicia spicigera is an aquatic plant native to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. It has wide, dark green leaves, and red or yellow pole-like flowers and grows in shrubs that grow up to 5m high.

Benefits of Honeysuckle

Most commonly Justicia is ingested as a tea to remedy dengue, to control heart disease, increase circulation, and the fruit is used to treat respiratory conditions. It is also commonly used as a digestive aid for constipation, and as a remedy for menstrual cramps and other muscle pains.
