At Evergreen Herbs, quality comes first, and that means you need to know where your herbs are grown. With over 30 years of experience under our belt, we know how vital quality is to our brand's integrity and the wellness of our customers.
Most of our herbs are wild crafted, planted and cultivated in private Mexican fields. Our other herbs (European, Asian, etc) come from a reputable and trusted supplier who provides a certificate of analysis with all of our imports.
Our Mexican herbs are dried on natural wood racks in Evergreen Herb's greenhouses.
Once they are handpicked and dried, we ship our herbs to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We know this is a long trip. To ensure security and safety, we ship all of our herbs in a single locked container.
Upon arrival at Evergreen Herbs in Milwaukee, WI we send samples of each and every received herb to a 3rd party certified lab. Certified Labs, Sora Labs and Alkemist Labs.
The lab tests each sample for Heavy Metals such as Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead, and Mercury. Then they are tested for Microbiology trespassers like Salmonella, Ecoli, Aerobic Plate Count, Staphylococcus Aureus, Yeast, Mold, and Enterobacteriaceae.
Once we receive electronic confirmation that the sample conditions have passed, our team publishes the herb on our website.
All processing and product manufacturing is done in-house. Our Milwaukee team processes the dried herbs into raw, powders, capsules, tea bags, and more*.
When a customer purchases from us, we ship individual online orders using sealed food-grade bags to ensure freshness and continued quality control.
